Haven't done a selfie in a long time...The eternal problem that a photographer faces: we LOVE imagery but we can't shoot ourselves, or at least not with the ease and flexibility and sensitivity that we have when our own eyes are looking through the viewfinder. So each time we make a "serious" selfie, that is, not with a cell phone or not simply pointing the camera to a mirror, it takes some serious time and effort. I've done many selfies before using tripod and remote, but when it comes to jump shoots, it is nearly impossible without a helping hand. Here thanks to my dear hubby, who so patiently followed all my instructions and repeated the shot a million times, we finally caught a few best shots with nice jumps and, a shower of tiny petals falling from the tree that sparkled in the sunshine - It was just perfect!

These pictures were shot at my friends Jenn and Tiffany's Yoga In the Park grand opening event at Penfield Rothfuss Park last Saturday. It was an unusually windy and chilly day in mid-June, however, still a lot of people showed up with enthusiasm. It looks like doing yoga in the nature breathing the fresh air is indeed an attractive idea to many people. Congrats to Jenn and Tiffany!

One of my friends from yoga teacher training, Tom, came all the way from Syracuse to do a photo session at my studio. Tom is a Math professor and a seasoned yogi, we worked very well together to create some professional portraits in different lighting setups, some casual portraits outdoors in natural light and also some yoga poses. It was a very productive one-hour session!

Just got the album I designed for Rain! We had a lot of fun shooting these pictures playing with costumes and balloons with her mom and aunt assisting the shoot.

Maryana is a long time friend of mine and she has a beautiful and super fun family of five: M&M, two girls and Alberto the cute little dog. It was a lot of chaos shooting their family pictures, I had to chase after Emma the energetic little one around to get her shots, but I really love the pictures! They are so full of life and character :)
